In the CNN interview last night Anderson Cooper tries to press Gingrich regarding the truthfulness in a Romney ad saying Obama gutted the welfare bill regarding the work requirement. Newt said there is no proof but based upon a multitude of factors including past votes and him being the food stamp president there is no reason to believe they will not use the waivers they put in. Newt said his ad would have even been stronger than Romneys.

So far, I have listened to 36 minutes of this interview on C-SPAN. In that 36 minutes, Newt has already said more about intelligently solving our country’s problems than Romney has said during his entire campaign.

I would have voted for Newt....

We are so screwed.
