When President Obamas aides said they werent familiar with former Missouri steelworker Joe Soptics life story, all they had to do was check their own campaign archives.
Soptic, laid off from Bain Capital-owned GST Steel, stars in a Priorities USA Action spot this week in which he tells of how his wife died without health insurance after he lost his job. Soptic also appeared, wearing what appears to be an identical shirt, in a May television ad for the Obama campaign.
Asked about the Priorities spot on MSNBC Wednesday morning, Robert Gibbs said he doesnt know the specifics while Stephanie Cutter said on CNN: I dont know the facts about when Mr. Soptics wife got sick or the facts about his health insurance.

THEY LIE !!!
I dont know the facts...”
When have facts ever been a consideration for team Owebama?
I think I saw that at The Blaze.
But Cutter hosted an Obama campaign conference call in May in which Soptic told reporters the very story featured in the Priorities spot.
FIFY
I found this reply in the link to be intesting.
“Hey, Joe. Sorry about your wife; however, you showed yourself to be a liar and exploited your own wife to pimp for Obama. Pathetic”
I agree with this in that Joe pimped his wifes death and lied about it for Obama. As stated, just pathetic. No wonder he does not want to talk about it anymore. The facts just show what kind of man he is.
this this guy is from an Obama add earlier? So did they cooperate with the PAC in putting this PAC add together? If so, they are in violation of the campaign re-finance law and have broken that law...
Politico? Really? This is about the 3rd story I’ve seen from then lately that isn’t mired in Obama worship. Has the Romney camp bought em off? Not complaining. Just wondering.
Team Obama, originally, stated that they didn’t know anything about Fast and Furious either. We all know where that ended up. This admin lies at every turn. Just pick the subject. I don’t know how Democrats could ever trust them. They will turn on each other if it benefits them.
Very interesting question. Paging McQueeg and Feingold. Alert the media. /s
Apparently you're not familiar with how federal law works: Laws only apply to Republicans, never to Democrats.
Romney’s people need to filing FEC complaints immediately!
There is NO doubt there is cooperation/collusion. It’s time to hoist them on their own pitard.
Time to turn the Alinsky rules on them.
Rule 3. Whenever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. They would never expect a direct response. They, and we, have become expectant of a non-responsive GOP-e.
Rule 4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. They are the ones who pushed the separation of superpacs and individual campaigns.
Rule 5. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. “C’mon Jay, you can seriously stand there as Presidential Press spewer and tell me that the campaign didn’t know about this second ad? Mr. Soptic was wearing the same shirt fo Heavens sake!”
Rule 6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy. Okay folks, who doesn’t want to see these worms squirm as they get exposed.
Rule 8. Keep the pressure on. Who doesn’t want to see these worms squirm even more as the heat gets turned up?
