This is all so simple.

1. Hillary is, and always was a liar. In fact, she is a perennial, perpetual, obligate liar ( Sir Edmund Hillary is her namesake, She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. She read the Wall Street on how to succeed in the futures market, she didn't know about the FALN pardons, stealing White House china and art was somehow an error, she was a Yankees fan, and many other whoppers.) And So, in March of 2011 when she says that in she will retire from politics in 2012, any village idiot knows that she's running for VEEP in 2012.

2. This is important. In 2011, (alleged) President Obama, Vice President Biden, and Hillary Rodham (Clinton), by my guess, conspired to have Hillary be the VEEP candidate.

3. This means that Biden will need to bow out. Now, since Democrats are NEVER, EVER honest about anything, I expect Biden to FAKE a health condition, and just go along.

4. Then, since the Dems just love PUBLICITY STUNTS, I expect a fake plea from Obama to Hillary to be the VEEP, while...

5. Hillary FAKES playing hard-to-get, saying (lying, of course) that she's "retiring" and doesn't want it. Mind you, I suspect that this is the script since 2011.

6. So, just in time for the Dem convention, you will see (planted) "news" stories about allegedly worried Dems pleading to Hillary..."Please accept the VEEP nomination, Hillary, the nation needs you", and other such lines.

7. This will be a mandatory media fenzy (they have already ceded that First Amendment thingy to Obama, anyway), and the "news" media will make this a 24/7 national worry. How can we convince Hillary to accept?

8. I would love to be wrong about any of this.

You are right on the money, and I was just about to post many of the same ideas.

Thanks for typing it up for me!

While I agree that Hillary would be the obvious choice to bolster Obama’s chances, I can’t see Obama trusting the Clintons enough to take the chance. With Hillary one heartbeat away from the presidency, Bamster might feel a little nervous. Plus Sweet Moochelle would never stand for it.

Trust me, you will be.

Hillary has passed her 'sell by' date with rank and file Democrats. They're nearly as tired of the Clintons as we are. It's partially why she lost to the unknown up-and-comer, Barry Obama, to begin with.

And if anyone thinks that Moochelle is gonna sign off on Hillary becoming Barry's new VP, they're dreaming. There's some seriously bad juju between those two.

I can see it playing out that way if, indeed, Biden’s shown the door for Hillary. In my view, the Democrats really screwed up in 2008 by picking Obama over Hillary.

This is what I posted several times last week.

The MSM tried to sucker Romney into announcing his VP choice early in order to give Obama new talking points. So far, it didn't work. The sooner that Romney announces, the sooner he will lose control of the news.

Romney will wait until after the Olympics to announce. If he's smart, he'll wait until the convention to announce in order to keep the Democrats from trying to control the messaging from Romney.Since

Democrats have their convention after Republicans, Obama will steal the momentum from Romney by announcing at the convention that he is replacing Biden with someone else. The MSM will do their part from this point.

One tantalizing tidbit is that Obama has given the Wednesday night VP speech slot to Bill Clinton, not Joe Biden. Reportedly, Clinton will be the one to formally place Obama's name into nomination. Could it also be the plan for Bill to announce that his wife will take Biden's place on the ticket?

What if Joe didn’t want to do it, and so Obama cut off the utilities to the VP’s residence? /half-joking

The scenario you play out regarding getting Hillary on the ticket makes sense but might prove to be too cute by half.

Certainly Biden is a liability at this point. Any VP Romney picks is sure to destroy him in a debate and the debates are going to be critical for Obama. The Romney pick, while likely to be boring, will almost certainly come across better than Biden who is a buffoon.

So if Romney comes out of the convention with a lead in the polls, Obama will come under considerable pressure to dump Biden and juice up the ticket.

Choosing Hillary seems like a no-brainer but I'm not sure how well that will go over with the black vote. There are still bitter feelings from the 2008 campaign and many blacks may stay home with her on the ticket.

No doubt there will be a media frenzy if this were to occur and the left-wing base will go nuts. But those people were never in the GOP camp to begin with so really, how many votes would Romney lose if Obama dumps Biden and chooses Hillary?

An Obama/Hillary ticket is a scary thought to any reasonably conservative American so it might well energize the GOP/Independent vote who have thus far been lukewarm over Romney. Biden is an idiot but he doesn't scare people the way Hillary will. Nobody on the conservative side is worried about Biden running for president in 2016.
