The people of Nevada did not send him back, the Unions of Las Vegas and Reno did!
The Unions actually got polling places set up inside the casinos so their members could vote without having to leave work, where the unions could supervise their vote.

He lost in 15 of 17 counties.

This is what happens when the voters of one overwhelmingly large uber-liberal city can override the will of the majority of the state.
