I won’t even talk to telephone pollsters. What I think is none of some stranger’s business. I think liberals are much more eager to share their political views with random people on the phone than normal, i.e. conservative folks are.

I'll put one to that. The last time a pollster called my landline (which I hardly ever answer directly), he was apparently surprised by my disinclination to participate.

What is this obsession with polls anyway? 2+2 does not suddenly become 5 because of a majority vote. Meanwhile, finding out what the "majority" believes today does not give you a clue to what they might say tomorrow.

Polling is an exercise for sheeple.
