Chick-fil-A says it set a sales record on Wednesday, the day that supporters rallied around the fast-food chain amid a debate over its president's opposition to same-sex marriage.
The chain said it won't release sales numbers, but "we can confirm reports that it was a record-setting day," said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A's executive vice president of marketing

The “hate chicken” slogan of today used against this business is no different from the “Jew” slogan used by brownshirted-jackbooted thugs outside of German businesses in the 1930’s.
The leader of those thugs, until Hitler purged him in 1934, was a gay man named Ernst Rohm.
I waited in the drive-through line at the West Mifflin, PA location for 30 minutes (no AC). The inside was packed.
Reports were that all the local CFA experienced the same.
Not a word in the online edition of this mornings Post Gazette?
The Trib did do a nice article.
On my drive to work this morning I turned on NPR news at 6:59 and listened to the entire broadcast. They never mentioned it.
It never happened.
All 1476 NPR listeners?
I never know if NPR happens. ... ;-)
It did though, it really happened — thats the truth. If liberals want to live in a fantasy land built on lies then so be it. They have the power not to report but they cant change what thousands know to be true.
New Perverts Radio
The Post Gazette is the democratic party newsletter, I’d be amazed to see any sort of mention of anything not supporting leftist ideals covered.
The gay-obsessed libs sure caused a LOT of chickens to die yesterday. LOL
there’s no CFA anywhere near me....i have a business trip to Arizona soon and will stop in
“The gay-obsessed libs sure caused a LOT of chickens to die yesterday.”
And, sadly for them, not one chicken was jammed up an ass.
Amen to that!!
Check NPR later in the day. Now that CNN has reported on Chick-fil-A’s record sales, then it “really happened”.
NPR has permission to report i,t too.
What’s sad is that the longtime Chick fil A spokesman Donald Perry didn’t live to see today.
Scaring the neighbor's cat ROFLOL!!
My total commute is 100 minutes. I listen to NPR to get “the other side” of the story. Interestingly, the more I listen, the funnier they sound. They try to sound so authoritative when, in reality they are a bunch of underpaid reporter wannabees. Some of them to get a nice travel perk, though.
Also, some of the in-depth stuff is unbearable. Then I listen to oldies.
But all this is when I’m not listening to the New Testament on an MP3 disk.
I love it..wait til november....THE GIANT IS AWAKE AND IT IS HUNGRY..
"Stop spiking the ball! My dear friends across the aisle are getting their feelings hurt!"
“Chick-fil-A..set a sales record Wednesday”
They couldn’t have had larger crowds yesterday if they were GIVING the chicken away!
A more accurate statement would be that Chick-fil-A SMASHED all sales records for ANY fast-food franchise yesterday.
You're OK. I was worried for awhile.
“On my drive to work this morning I turned on NPR news at 6:59 and listened to the entire broadcast. They never mentioned it.
It never happened.”
Nazi and muslim trash deny the holocaust. I expect the same from liberal garbage as well.
It's hard to explain how outraged I am that my tax dollars are being spent supporting a ‘public’ radio network that ONLY supports one political side ... If NPR is the ‘liberal radio network’ let the liberals use their money to support them ... totally.
Here's a video you'll enjoy, cuban:
None of my lefty Facebook acquaintances bothered to talk about it...What a shock!
Although I’m very heartened that some of them in other states did go to show support for the first amendment.
They know, and they’re angry and terrified.
Yes, we’re fed up, and we’ve realized there’s no compromise with these people, because their goal is total domination and they’ll accept nothing less.
The Post Gazette takes the editorial position that Pittsburgh must become super-duper-ultra Gay Friendly in order to attract “the creative class”, which will spur an economic boom unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Those damned under-educated blue collar Catholics keep getting in the way though.
You took this picture?
See the white car (half of it) in the middle of the picture. It sure looks like a doctored photo - can you explain that?
I know the CFA appreciation day was a huge success, but this looks fishy to me.
Id be amazed if they fail to cover the homosexual kiss-in tomorrow?
If a panorama is constructed in photoshop by combining multiple photos, weird things can happen.
Otherwise a decent panorama. We get the idea.
I believe it was a panoramic view from putting two photos together since the whole view couldn’t be taken with one shot...
I took it. It’s a panoramic shot, so I clicked the shutter for the first shot and then I move my camera to the right and the (Droid) camera takes the second shot and stitches them together. That car looks that way because it moved in the second or two between the first pic (left half) and the second. It does look weird. But it’s real.
Oh I’m sure they’ll cover that, they’ll find one over by one of the universities with 12 people kissing in it and cover it like the ground shook.
I gave up on the post-gazette years ago, I really don’t care which way your editorial page goes, but they are flat out nothing more than a propoganda rag front to back.
Read a statement somewhere yesterday that “More than 500,000 chickens died on August 1, 2012, in the United States in order that free men can remain free”.
It was hard to get a good shot with all the cars and people moving into my camera field.
Anyway, I thought it was a good comparison of the two restaurants, even with the motion artifact.
I already posted it on my favorite liberal site. :-)
They don’t know my new name here. ;-)
They’ll eventually figure it out, though. They really monitor this site since they know I’m here. It’s only a matter of time.
It is a great comparison.
Thanks for explaining - I did not realize that some panoramic photos were shot with 2 exposures, which totally explains the artifacts.
The Post Gazette should take a look at how JC Penny is doing - or how well newspapers (creative liberal elites rum them) are doing... Then the Gazette needs to understand 2% of the population's gay... Maybe, just maybe the Gazette would be better off backing the citizens they have rather than wishing for delusional fantasies... Have they backed high speed rail yet?
I noticed that as well. Not a word.
