'Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day' sets record, restaurant chain says

Chick-fil-A says it set a sales record on Wednesday, the day that supporters rallied around the fast-food chain amid a debate over its president's opposition to same-sex marriage.

The chain said it won't release sales numbers, but "we can confirm reports that it was a record-setting day," said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A's executive vice president of marketing

A more accurate statement would be that Chick-fil-A SMASHED all sales records for ANY fast-food franchise yesterday.

It's hard to explain how outraged I am that my tax dollars are being spent supporting a ‘public’ radio network that ONLY supports one political side ... If NPR is the ‘liberal radio network’ let the liberals use their money to support them ... totally.

I know the CFA appreciation day was a huge success, but this looks fishy to me.

I waited in the drive-through line at the West Mifflin, PA location for 30 minutes (no AC). The inside was packed.

Reports were that all the local CFA experienced the same.

Several CFA's here in the Houston area had to shut down early - 8PM instead of 10PM - because they RAN OUT OF FOOD! That is simply AWESOME to think about! They literally did not have any more food to serve to customers! God Bless CFA and the recently-re-awakened America!

I believe it was a panoramic view from putting two photos together since the whole view couldn’t be taken with one shot...

I took it. It’s a panoramic shot, so I clicked the shutter for the first shot and then I move my camera to the right and the (Droid) camera takes the second shot and stitches them together. That car looks that way because it moved in the second or two between the first pic (left half) and the second. It does look weird. But it’s real.

I went back to the original image on my computer, which 4869 x 1432, and even zoomed it up a little more. It looks like it is the big SUV's mirror above the top of the little white car, and the headlight and grill of the SUV are sitting on the car's hood and door. On the right of the image you can see the SUV I am talking about. She moved but left a ghost on the right of the image.

It was hard to get a good shot with all the cars and people moving into my camera field.

Anyway, I thought it was a good comparison of the two restaurants, even with the motion artifact.
