There are far too many people who are easily swayed by polls, and don't pay attention to much else.

Why do you think that, democrats, and even republicans do so many of them, and if it's not their own polls, they'll look to influence the outcome of those other polls.

Whatever. It looks as though what you were dealing with was this new Quinnipiac/CBS/New York Times poll published today. The questions appear to be similar to those mentioned in the thread.

I understand the propaganda intent, I just don't buy into it. I don't think most voters weigh what the polls have been saying when they pull the lever . . . other than those who have remained clueless, and I hardly think there would be enough of those to matter (course I could always be wrong :) )
