Marannis is an egotistical martinet. He’s a legend in his own mind.

If you read the books by the Kleins, Corsi, and others, you will find out about the real Obama, a marxist narcisstic buffoon who hates America, esp. white Americans, and covertly likes Islam.

Marannis likes to leave out information that doesn’t confirm to his liberal/leftist mindset.

I fully intend to read his book because I try to read as much material on a subject as I can (and afford). However, I’ve been involved in exposing Obama as a marxist since 2008 (when I was invited into the research effort), and I can find nothing in the documentation available to disprove that he is anything but a Hugo Chavez wannabe marxist authoritarian, superegotist.

In listening to the Maraniss interview on C-SPAN this weekend there were many times he showed his bias. Such as saying Obama’s parents met at a Russian class because it was all the rage in 1960 for people to learn Russian. Maybe Barack Sr. and Stanley Ann wanted to learn Russian so they could be better communists.

Maraniss tried to make Obama look as good as possible during the interview.

I was mildly interested until it was revealed that Maraniss ‘doctored’ some of 0bama’s writings to make him appear more literate than he was. Guess I’ll stick with ‘The Amateur’.

"...the president was not born in the United States remains at the epicenter of the anti-Obama mythology. "

Ah yes, mon ami....his Kenyan grand mother says he, Obama, was born in Kenya.

It’s highly interesting that after more than fifty years of conservative ideology being thrust into the national consciousness (by W.F.Buckley and Barry Goldwater) and four years of having Obama jammed down our throats, these leftist yokels have no better grasp of the ideals of conservatism than before that time. It’s amusing to see liberals shake their heads where their tiny brains lie and wonder why large numbers of people don’t like the most leftist president ever elected.

Rather than assess why his book tanked -- it is too honest for the left and too dishonest for the right --

Whoa - is that a great line or what??

A professor who wrote a letter of reference for Obama reinforces the point, telling Remnick, "I don't think [Obama] did too well in college." From the existing records, we know that Obama did not graduate from Columbia with honors.

How such an indifferent student got into a law school whose applicants' LSAT scores typically track between the 98th and 99th percentile and whose GPAs range between 3.80 and 4.00 is a subject Maraniss chooses not to explore. Instead of checking his college records, or even asking why they have been sealed, he takes Obama's word on his grade point average. That, my friend, is not journalism.

Washington Post? Why am I NOT surprise...

That, my friend, is not journalism.

That, my friend, is not journalism.

That, my friend, is not journalism.

I have purchased the copy of the book by David Maraniss. I try to be as fair as I can. I went to the index and observed the entries for Kibaki, Mwai and Odinga, Raila. There were three entries for both these men. So far so good. Since this book ends at page 571 with a young Barack Obama's first Kenyan visit, David could get a pass.

Unfortunately in dealing with Mwai Kibaki, now president of Kenya, the author has made this one reference. Page 390.

This was the same Mwai Kibaki who later became president of Kenya and whose tenure was marked by deadly tribal strife when Luo believed he fixed the election and kept them from power.

I went to Dr Jerome Corsi and his book "The Obama Nation". Pages 102-107. There follows the almost incredible Odyssey of the then Senator Obama in 2006 to Kenya. The senator took part most actively in the election which pitted Raila Odinga (Luo) against Mwai Kibaki (Kikuyu). There was both resentment from one side and a euphoria from the other side. Luo claims Barack Obama Jr as theirs.

Kibaki was elected. We learn that a 1000 people were slaughtered and many thousands "displaced," by the cruelty of the Odinga supporters. Kibaki was forced to create a position of Prime Minister for Odinga. The same Odinga who now courts Islam.

Senator Obama had exhorted peaceful negotiations by telephone from Chicago to Kenya.

One has only to read Dr Corsi on this subject. That someone should be allowed to interfere with another countries election and get away scot free, boggles the mind. I stand corrected but so far, I cannot find a reference by Maraniss about this event. Maybe in his next book, which he stated is forthcoming about the now president.
