The Atlanta-based company said that Perry, who was vice president of public relations, died suddenly early Friday morning.
"Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years," the company said in a statement. "For many of you in the media, he was the spokesperson for Chick-fil-A. He was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities, and we will all miss him.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family," the company continued.
No cause of death was given, but reports said that Perry had suffered a heart attack.

Only Brietbart knows for sure
I don’t think anything sinister occurred, but the libs are going to RUN with this.

Perry
Public relations executive for Chick-fil-A
My guess the libs put soooooo much heat on this poor man that he had the heart attack. How can we not go after the media and libs for pushing the Chick-Fil-A issue so hard?
My prayers go out tho this mans family and to his employer as well.
Speculating on what happens after death is something that I don’t normally do, but guy who works for a company that respects religion would probably have a better shot at passing the pearly gates than a mayor who embraces the militant sodomite community and rejects the christian principled company solely because their disapproval of sodomy. (Wasn’t there something about God not particularly liking Sodom in the bible?)
At least he died holding firm to the Biblical principle of marriage. To the godless this present life is the only ‘heaven’ for them here on the topside of the terra firma. Mourn for them instead.
I can only imagine the stress that was suddenly piled upon this man with the full wrath and pressure of the “Lavender Mafia” coming down upon him and the business that he obviously loved and to which he had dedicated nearly 30 years of his life.
Prayers for his family, and for the family that is “Chick-Fil-A”.
(I think I will have their Spicy Southwest Chicken Salad” for lunch today.)
Prayers for he and his family. RIP.
Poor man. At least he died fighting the good fight, but the stress of the Rainbow Agenda heaped on him the past few weeks likely did him in.
