Examples like these are why I’m glad I didn’t spent 2-4 years at a college.
If I want anything dealing with music, I’ll go with beginner’s music theory if they have an emphasis on not performing, because I’m about as far from a guitar virtuoso as you can get.
Other than that though, what the heck kind of real-world applications would any of these classes have? Then again, you can’t indoctrinate if that seed of doubt has been planted beforehand.
