The 2nd Amendment says nothing about hunting or sporting guns, it is a direct response for an armed citizenry being a deterrent to a tyrannical government coming to power and using a well regulated militia, i.e. armed force, to enforce its rule against the People, PERIOD.

The 2nd Amendment does not require anyone to own a gun and I do not favor forcing anyone to own one if they are not so inclined. In my lifetime I have seen the most dangerous person owning a gun is someone who does not know how to use it.

However, Liberals like Peter Bogdanovich, Mayor Michael 'Let the Cops Strike for Gun Control' Bloomberg and you, President 'they cling to their guns' Obama, always want to take away my right to own the arms they just don't like.

A gun is just a tool, just like a steak knife, claw hammer or two-ton automobile, all items that can be used to kill human beings. There are no dangerous weapons but their are dangerous people that we need to be armed in order to protect our families and self.

Remember, the Police are not always just outside the window when danger strikes. They are minutes or even hours away and that delay may mean the death of you or your loved ones.

Lastly, Mr. Obama, learn about what you are talking about because your miniscule amount of gun knowledge and bogus liberal talking points only shows your ignorance to gun owners. We are not the simple knuckle dragging morons you claim us to be.

Why do rinos (aka liberals), always see fit to revamp what's written. The second half of the second amendment says, "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
No one is arguing that we need a military (aka militia) to protect us from foreign enemies. That is a given and addressed in the first half of the amendment but... "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" is another topic altogether and that right "shall not be infringed."

Notice also that the second amendment does NOT limit the types of arms we as citizens may possess.

Wake up people. We have a tyrant in the White House. His lieutenant Eric Holder is ramping up his domestic "emergency responders" to seize control and to lock us down. Obomba is NOT going to let go of the White House.

Everybody in America that the Constitution says can be armed needs to be armed.
