Chick-fil-A makes a great chicken sandwich, and I used to like getting onewith a cup of their amazing lemonadewhenever I was in the South. In fact, before I knew more about Chick-fil-A, I used to joke about helping to open one in New York.
Then I found out the company, according to the LGBT group Equality Matters, has donated millions of dollars to groups that oppose gay rights, and Chick-fil-A's president, Dan Cathy, told a Baptist newspaper that he supported the "biblical" definition of family. Thats why former Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas has asked that folks who share the company's principles stop by a Chick-fil-A on Aug. 1 to show support for the company's conservative values.

Boycott?!
Geez, I thought they said buycott! I went and dropped $35 on sandwiches for dinner. Had to abandon my lunch run, way too many cars in the parking lot and drive-thru.
So are all the Chick fil a’s busy? I dont think think there are any in northern new england.
I don't care what the gay haters do... I'm sick of the threats. We have a right to believe marriage is between a man and a woman. They should make an effort to be more understanding of people who aren't like them. Gays are sooooooo narrow minded.
Gays are 2% of the population - if they want to pick an economic fight with the 98% I say, 'go for it'...
:-(
Maybe Chick-Fil-A should add some new menu items just to mock the perverts.
How about some new sandwiches, like...The Chicken Hawk, The Pirate, or maybe a renamed hot fudge/hard ice cream sunday on a brownie.
I'll bet they could make a fortune.
His favorite meal there is the #9.
A Chick Fillet Resturant just opened yesterday in Forest Hill, MD just north of me. There were 188 people camped out for the grand-opening. Store will do VERY well in this area.
Here's the plan - we go to Chick-fil-A - buy a sandwich - vote for marriage when it comes up ( WE ALWAYS WIN) and refuse extra rights for ANY bedroom activity. Dogs, chains, groups, whatever - so special privileges. No 'marriages'.
Then we ignore them.
Ignore them but ask them to please get a life, live that life, and leave the rest of us alone. We don't want to interact with them, don't want to know them, don't want to fight with them about sexuality. About other things - fine - we can be co-workers, friends whatever but they need to leave their bedroom stuff in the bedroom. We're bored with their drama... we're NOT interested, just LEAVE US ALONE... Really, gays need to find something new to fill their emptiness and boredom. Not us. Maybe they can try to control each other - or take to hating some new group... whatever...
They have a life, they are busy harvesting our kids.
