What the Dems do not get is that the “You Didn’t Build That” event became two things.

1) A viral video.

2) An internet meme.

That means they became an organic force that is equal to 12,000 political ads running 24/7 for 3 months straight as thousands of people created everything from response videos to satirical images THAT WERE PASSED AROUND TO MILLIONS OF OTHERS.

Holding some stupid event in nowhere town for some press flunkies isn’t going to remotely equal that.

The thing about the "You didn't build that" that I don't remember hearing anyone discuss is that when he said, "Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that." the word "that" doesn't match "roads and bridges." He should have used "them."

This shows either that his grammar is not great (there's good evidence of this when he's not using the teleprompter) or he really didn't mean what his hacks are claiming he meant.
