How's that low-manning concept working out for 'ya? On a more serious and depressing note, a comment I read on another website pointed this out - the DDG-1000 are being built on the same low-manning principles as the LCSs. They have 50% more displacement then a Burke, but have less then half the crew.

Very poor planning by the Navy. The goobermint folks who wrote the maintenance contracts should be fired, as well. I saw these issues coming years ago, as did anyone who knows how the military and contracting work.

They will be hauling a gang of illegals around with them on board ship to do the dirty work.
