Think what ya may, I drink the good glacial water and been on FR since 1996. You’ll sit in wonderment and cry your eyes out when another dem like Begich gets in over your simple minded criticism of Donny Young. Young is better than most of the Repubs in lower 48 and will get re-elected until he decides to retire and let one of his half breed kids take over. His kids will get support from all Alaskans too, Whites, Indians, rural, and urban Alaskans cause he’s a stand up kinda guy and people up here been watching him do his thing for many years and like his anger at the feds, unlike you all crawling under the carpet in fear.

I lived in Alaska from 1976 until 2002 so I know a little about the state.

You do not know me, sir. Do not assume that all people in the Lower 48 “crawl under the carpet with fear.” If that is what you believe you are deluded. I thought that same way when I lived up there. Now that I live in a conservative state that is not controlled by unions and indian tribes I have realized the errors of my previous perceptions.

Begich got elected by foul play - same way most commiecrats get elected. Stevens gave him plenty of ammo. He got way too big for his britches. Murkowski is only in there because her daddy appointed his little princess. They both make me sick.

Don Young has done a lot of good things for Alaska. That being said, he has been in D.C. too long and it is starting to show. Being an elected representative of the people is not supposed to be a career or a family dynasty.
