Holmes sounds like he’s about as nutty as Loughner is. They go to college and end up becoming incoherent pscyhobabblers.
He mentions a mentor in one of the news stories. It is important to identify that mentor, if real. I wish I could point readers to the specific item. So many out there now.
Kids today in general seem to have trouble distinguishing reality from fantasy.

Many kids' lives are dominated by projected images on television, movies, video games, computers and smart phones.
Over time technology has allowed the images to be made more intense and impactful upon the consciousness.
I wonder what percent of the average kid's life is spent interacting with real people and situations around them versus having their attention occupied with images.

I don’t care if he is crazier than an outhouse rat - hang him in a public execution. That might discourage future nutcases from pursuing their dreams of immortality at the expense of others. If he’s sane enough to plan this crime, he’s sane enough to pay the penalty for it.
The feds are going to warehouse him like they did Loughner. He’ll be sent into the void and we’ll never hear of him again.
