I wonder if Mayor Rahm even looks up from his crumpets when the latest blood is shed each 2.4 hours under his watch - or if he just grins and asks for more butter.

I doubt that people would get it, but if I were a politician, in a conservative area, I’d keep lowering the flag in memory of the people being killed in Chicago, basically every day. These are lives broken apart - and many of them were not bad people.
I would honor them, every day, right until Jan 20, 2013 (just as the media stopped ‘honoring’ our troops that died, the minute Bush left office).
