An "atrocity" is right. The
tragedy is that getting a concealed carry permit is apparently so difficult in that part of Colorado that no one there was able to stop this nut. Twelve people dead and 71 -- seventy one!!! -- injured? I personally know several CC holders who very likely would have been able to take that loon down before he'd done a fraction of the damage. Yes, this calls for a change in gun laws alright -- a change that makes it more possible for honest, responsible citizens to conceal-carry to handle such nutcases as this guy was.
As for, How many Soldiers have we lost this week???? crickets.
How many in Mitt's family have been Soldiers or served in the U.S. military over the three generations they've been in the U.S.?????? crickets.
Yet another thing Romney has in common with Obama.
Given his tensive body armor and use of a smoke bomb do you REALLY think someone well trained would've been likely to take a shot in that chaos?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Romney spoke well today and should be commended for the bright distinction between his words and the crass narcissism of this president.
