President Barack Obama's reelection campaign is pulling down its attacks ads against Mitt Romney in the aftermath of the tragic mass shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, a spokeswoman says.
"We have asked affiliates to pull down our contrast advertising for the time being," Jen Psaki told reporters, according to a pool report from the Washington Post's David Nakamura, traveling with Obama on a campaign swing through Florida. "It takes time for stations to be able to do this, but we are making every effort."

He is pulling the attack ads because he like the shooter is Muslim and likely not white and wants to dodge the blame for the Colorado mass shooting.
Leftists are always manipulating the language to suit their agenda. When the light of truth and hard definitions are used, their ideology falls apart.

I know if Romney did it, he would be accused here of being weak, reactionary, and waving the white flag over something that does not involve him.
Obama is going to try to pull the same thing he did after the Tucson shooting. We’ll see if it works.

Would be even better if Romney ran an ad saying it was a fast and furious gun that the kid had.
Maybe Zero is trying to appear "Presidential" for once, and not look like a Chicago punk gangster.
I doubt it will work. He'll revert to his natural state within 72 hours. Also, his negative ads clearly are not working, this gives his campaign an excuse to stop the cash hemorrhage.

I haven't seen much in the way of Romney ads, other than on YouTube. In fact, I haven't seen any on cable here. I thought that Romney and the Republican Super Pacs were (correctly) keeping their powder dry. It's July, people are more interested in vacations and the beach.
The police were of NO HELP in this situation, and the gunman surrendered after he did what he wanted.
The ONLY thing that could have stopped this would have been armed citizens.
