With White House confirmation today that President Barack Obama will NOT attend or address the International AIDS Society's XIX International AIDS Conference, which kicks off this Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Washington, DC, advocates from AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) expressed surprise and dismay over the President's decision, noting that it sends a discouraging message about the president's view of the importance of HIV/AIDS and his commitment to addressing the pandemic in a meaningful and effective manner.

Classic self-centered behavior. Does what he wants, when he wants to do it. No sense of obligation to attend events of his core supporters if he sees no advantage in it.

AIDS treatments are expensive.

ObamaCare's primary goal is to reduce medical spending.

Obama probably wanted to avoid questions from people at the conference who had studied the ObamaCare bill and realized that, rather than increase the level of care AIDS patients get, it would reduce their care level.

We're going to be hearing the phrase comfort care a lot in the near future. It's the phrase used in ObamaCare for giving someone a pain-killer and letting them die rather than spending big dollars to extend their lives a few years.

“In the 1980s, ‘Silence Equaled Death.’ Today, President Obama’s ongoing silence on AIDS equals death for millions,” added AHF’s Weinstein.

King Barack is the only President to cut funding for the global fight against AIDS. Somehow this has skipped the medias attention. sarc/ And, of course, no mention of his ignoring the conference by MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, NPR.

He throws the Most Racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright under the bus.

He throws the blacks at the NAACP under the bus.

Now he throws the AIDS Healthcare Foundation under the bus.

Next he will probably skip his usual gay boys get together at his and Rahm’s favorite Chicago bath house.

Ignores the NAACP, now this.”

Well it obviously is NAACP’s fault for not re-scheduling last weeks meeting in Houston to this week and moving it to San Antonio or Austin. That way he could have given them at least 15 minutes before or after one of his fundraising stops. NAACP apparently has no appreciation for just how hard he works. /s

AIDS treatments are expensive.

I've been watching some leftie media reports (NPR, and that ilk) champion new AIDS preventative drugs that cost about $40,000 per person to administer per year.

They are designed for homosexuals who frequent bath houses and other gay haunts, and engage in unprotected sex with hundreds of partners. The advocates for the drug say that its success would be a "great breakthrough", and lobby for public funding and support.

Why should waste his time with any of these groups. He knows they are in his back pocket. ;)

The problem is that he FAILED to tell the
right story to the gay community.

You see, he SOLVED the AIDS problem -
gay men no longer have to go to Man Country
because they can now be monogomous in matrimony!

2 clean husbands, no spread of AIDS.

He’s on to the next problem, man! Stop being
a bunch of whiners.

Doesn’t matter. Both the AIDS and NAACP people are in his pocket and will deliver in November.
