Steve Schmidt was McCain’s campaign manager (wow, wasn’t he the greatest)....and Mark McKinnon was Bush’s MEDIA guy so Bush could get his message across (DOUBLE WOWIE).
I've long wondered why the likes of Trump, Rush, the Koch brothers, Adelson, Forbes, etc. haven't purchased majority shares in some of the troubled left wing radio or tv stations, newspapers or newsmags.
I’m currently of the opinion that the cries for more years of tax returns are to facilitate the opening of the “Mormon” front. They already played the “rich” and “offshore investments” cards, playing up his charitable donations is a predictable next step, but to be really effective, they need more years of his high earning tax years to make that figure really pop.
I also suspect the timing was brought on by the Tom Cruise divorce bringing Scientology into the media. In two months, the chance to confuse those valuable low-info voters into thinking that Romney is mostly a Scientologist will have mostly passed.
Is this the same woman that was the only member of the press that was able to touch the long for birth certificate with the raised seal? (Not just a second generation photocopy of the document)
How could Obama afford a cocaine habit as a young junkie? Supposedly he was from a poor family. Must have been a dealer and committed many felonies.

Yup, that's precisely the spirit the Obama campaign is hoping to drum up in flyover country and ride to reelection.
The "Mormon card" is part of the strategy to dispirit the conservative sector of the electorate, particularly evangelicals who distrust the teachings of the LDS church. You can be certain that documentaries on the Mormon church show up on basic cable as the summer wears on, you'll know the media is really feeling like the race is in a stage of desperation when "Big Love" goes into network syndication in the fall.
