I heard some former Mormons relate on TV that each Mormon is striving to be ‘god’ of his own planet. [look it up]

That is true except it is actually a universe (more than one planet). I don’t need to look it up, I LIVED it for many years until God opened my eyes and delivered me from that evil.

And you are correct, too many people do not read the Bible anymore.

However, in searching the universe so far no livable planets have been found other than earth. We seem to have one of a kind. But then, Joseph Smith couldn’t have known that at the time he wrote his prophesy.

Scientists keep searching for other planets that could sustain life. Most of what they find are probabilities that there once was water or some other theory, but no hard evidence so it is mostly science fiction at this point.
