Hot and wet. We had a torrential downpour late this afternoon, but it only lasted about ten minutes or so. Unfortunately, it is now much more humid and oppressive than it was earlier today. It’s awful.

Rain is desperately needed here. We can water the veggie garden by hand but flower gardens, etc are on their own.
