I seem to recall that in the last century, we had a bit trouble from a certain house painter who fancied himself an artist.

I was thinking the same thing and what it cost in innocent life’s from many nations to get that “Artist” to stop painting.

Years ago when I heard about Hitler’s art I looked it up to see if I thought it was any good. My conclusion was that he was no “master” by a long shot but to be fair, was better than a lot of aspiring artists.

...we had a bit trouble from a certain house painter who fancied himself an artist.

He wasn't a bad artist, just limited. He could not paint people to save his life. His landscapes and cityscapes, sans people were okay.

In fact, he owed his living at the time to the mostly Jewish merchants that bought his 'scapes during that period.

Alas, to get accepted into art school in 1920s Austria, you had to be able to depict people.

As for the BHO doodler-bit, I remember the pro-Kennedy propaganda in the late 1960s pushing physical manifestations (trinkets) of JFK's doodles.

Liberals really need to get their own lives.
