And noticeably absent was any mention of July 4th. In the US, July 4th is a holiday and all of the government shuts down ... let’s review that, on the 4th of July, the government shuts down. In fact, many parts of the government and companies close for the whole week... officially or unofficially. Sounds like the Bureau of Lies and Statistics is going into overtime mode to “pimp for the boss” before the election. I’m still betting they will have the unemployment number down to 6% before the election even if they have to subsequently (after the election) correct it back to 11%.
