'Everything is happening according to this biblical template'

Author of 'Isaiah 9:10 Judgment' interviewed on American Family Radio

It may be scary and it may be eerie, but events in America today are following a biblical pattern of warnings of a coming judgment, according to the author of “The Harbinger,” which has been No. 1 among Christian books since it was released last winter.

In its film form, the message has been No. 1 among all Christian videos since it debuted as “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” in March.

Author Jonathan Cahn, in an interview with American Family Radio, explained that the template was created when God issued a series of warnings to the nation of Israel before it was judged, and eventually allowed to fall into captivity.

The same sequence of events now has developed in the United States, starting with the terror attacks of 9/11, he said in the interview with Ed Vitagliano of the American Family Association production.

The events outlined in Isaiah 9:10 concern a limited strike on the nation of Israel by its enemies. Most commentaries say the strike was allowed by God in order to warn Israel to return to its faith.

Instead, the leaders of Israel vowed to rebuild and restore the nation themselves, and come back stronger than before.

It’s the same sequence of events in America today, Cahn said during the interview, to the point that the template outlined “the actual dates and hours of the crash of the American economy.”

“It can be an eerie or a scary thing, but these same nine harbingers of warning of a nation’s judgment are appearing on American soil,” he said.

“It’s happening, extremely precisely and specifically,” he said. He said what has happened in America is that God’s protection was removed for a time – for the time of 9/11.

If you follow or accept the line of reasoning for the Harbinger, every single OT prophecy remains in effect or can be activated by repeating specific actions.

NOW you're beginning to understand! :) America is repeating the same mistakes that the nation of Israel made. Therefore we can expect to suffer the same consequences. Not from the hand of God, but from his removal of protection from this nation because of our actions.

You should really read the book. It's a great read if you like a Tom Clancy kind of novel. Unlike a Clancy novel, the basis is all true. You'll be amazed at the similarities between the first downfall of the Nation of Israel and what's going on in America today. You can then go verify what he says in the novel is true.

There is a new Covenant that controls.

Some things changed after the arrival of Christ, mostly to do with his sacrifice for us; but the age old battle between good and evil, the fall of nations, and God having to eventually intervene continues.

While it's hard or even impossible for us to follow/comprehend at times, the end of an age is an epic with many stories.

If it all to follow according to what happened to Israel, she became a divided nation first with a more righteous Judah being divided from the other 10 tribes. The 10 tribes were subjugated first with finally Judah last. Christians may have to consider moving to less hostile regions of the nation with the notion of forming their own nation.

God didn’t make a covenant with the U.S. Government in 1789, or prior to our Constitution, or any time afterward.

He made a covenant with His people. They live in every land.

Right on.

Considering that we’re commanded to obey our earthly masters (government) - the idea that God somehow blessed our rebellion against British authority in establishing this nation (that today murders 3,500 babies every day and is arguably one of the most perverse and immoral nations)...is something I’ve been debating in my head for a long time.

I don’t doubt that many of our forefathers were believers. But I’m hard-pressed to find a democracy, or representative republic model of government being approved of in scripture.

The idea of our government is that man can rule himself. The fundamental beliefs of Christianity is that man is nothing without God, and has no inherent ability to self-rule.

The question is, “Do you believe in coincidence?” Is what this is? Or does this sinful nation need to repent?

The fundamental gift of Christ is a continued existence beyond our mortal death, for the asking I might add. We all fall victim to evil and the sins of this existence. Jesus sacrificed himself to rescue us from this world, not that we may all be governors.

Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, is merely a statement to the difference.

Good to meet a fellow Galtian online! Living in the land of Galt certainly gives one a new perspective on things. I've been at it almost three years now. It's amazing the number of really smart people who go about their lives in a clueless daze.

Take care,

I think the 'warning' of what happened to them as Paul writes is like having the 'script' of what is taking place all around this globe. The 'we can do it better' crowd are in some part representative of bondage not unlike that of the children in Egypt. And as with even in the whole of Christianity a review of the mentality of the majority of the newly freed children is demonstrated by their creation of the golden calf. Hmmmm, I find a curious similarity in the mentality of the 'established' GOP selecting a candidate more in the mentality of liberalism than of liberty in individual responsibility.

And there is a great myth begin floated that the established GOP have a handle on the 'system' and IF they can control the 'system' they will save US. (BUT the peoples House was returned to the established GOP and we got a crybaby that refused to pull the plug on liberals 'deathcare' process.) See the 'system' has become the golden calf to the point of idolatry. I am not convinced there are enough NOT wedded to the system to reclaim what our founding fathers set in motion. I think that myth of evolution claiming to demonstrate the survival of the fittest is finally happening in real time.

My take on the book is mixed. The writing was so boring and repetitive that it drove me nearly insane. The whole thing could have been summarized in a single chapter.

There are so many “coincidences,” though, that I can’t honestly say there’s no there, there. Know what I mean?

I think I do. The “coincidences” are pretty astounding and boggle the mind when attempting to
calculate the odds. Given this occuring along with other world and natural events, even more
so.

One other, sometimes overlooked, indicator:

Fallacy 101.

The U.S. is not mentioned as a nation in God’s word. We are a part of the British kingdom, biblically, and that is the best that you can look for.

But books that call for judgement on the U.S. always sell well.

Sid is really good on healing, and spiritual warfare, but he is way too much of a Zionist to understand end times prophecy with an open mind.

“That which is Caesar’s” is that which is of the Earth, and thus irrelevent WRT eternity.

It can be really tough to let go of it though.

Governments change. If no government rules (for good or for ill) but by the will of God, then if you go against the powers that be - you had best be successful. If you failed to establish a new Government - then it was not God's will that you succeed - but if you DO succeed in establishing a new Government - then it follows that it was God's will that a new Government be established.

It should be obvious to all but the incurably obtuse that for the last couple hundred years - it is God's will that America be self-ruled rather than ruled from England.

What system of governance do you see as compatible with Christianity? Monarchy?
