Any one stupid , or crazy enough to register their guns to this government is in for one hell of a wake up call.

What if a guy were to sell all of his registered guns privately, but neglected to keep any paperwork on the sale?

So what? A gun owned by a private individual is his to do as he sees fit. Just like selling a car, a horse or anything else he owns.
