During that conversation, the officials said, the officer allegedly said he would shoot the First Lady and then used his phone to retrieve a picture of the firearm he said he would use. It was not immediately clear what type of firearm was allegedly shown.
An officer overheard the alleged threat and reported it to a police lieutenant at the Division, who immediately notified superiors, the officials said.
We received an allegation that inappropriate comments were made. We are currently investigating the nature of those comments, D.C. police spokeswoman Gwendolyn Crump said in an e-mail. She declined to discuss the matter further.

Its the ones who dont say it that you have to worry about.

No worry here.
Not to say they don't have some real flags.
Why are Latinos forbidden to use metal cutlery in his presence? Those 300+ dead Mexicans must've had relatives.
This is just wrong! Did that officer not know that in several states it is illegal to hunt or kill a Sasquatch!
>>Could this finally be the crazed right-winger they have been waiting for???
You can bet a lot of people have their fingers crossed!!
BS; Red Herring to take away from economy.
They’ll somehow be very willing to protect this officer’s identity, because he doesn’t exist.
I want a NAME and a FACE.......I DOUBT this is a right wing white guy!! Hey REPORTERS....MORE INFO, PLEASE!!
The alleged “threat”:
“Shoot a wookie? Why I’d use a rifle. Here I have a photo of it.”
If there was any truth to this, why would he be placed on administrative duty? Wouldn’t he be relieved of all duties while being investigated?
Hmmm...
First thing I thought of. Not cool to threaten a public person, though...if it’s true.
There is a rumor that came out, from some whistleblower, OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO STAGE REICHSTAG EVENT AS TRIGGER FOR MARTIAL LAW, DHS SOURCE WARNS.
Don’t know if it was posted here, sounded outlandish, but everyone had the same question. Would they really go that far?
This morning while sipping my coffee and add some new tin foil to my helmet, I thought about this scenario played out. If someone were to harm the first lady, it would accomplish several goals of this administration. Primarily, it would distract from from his record and the state of the union. It would also garner him a lot of sympathy and allow him great latitude by much of the public. “You’d grab guns too, if your wife had been shot”... et al. For these reasons, she should watch her supposed trusted friends. Does anyone doubt that such sacrifices would be made for the “greater good”? Maybe I’m just cynical, but I don’t put anything past them.
If he DID say something to this effect out loud, he’s a dumbass.
And that’s a big “if”. I’m calling bullsh*t on this one - another media-inspired distraction to take the attention off the economy and the dismal job their golden boy is doing.
“Officials familiar with what happen say that it was a bad joke made by someone who should have known better. The officer, who is represented by the police union, has retained a lawyer.”
Obviously. That's why a desperate Osama Obama campaign might be so tempted to set up something like this.Rush has said, and I'm willing to wager that he's correct, that Osama's campaign is gonna be scorched earth from start to finish.
Well, the Mooocher does have her detractors.
It sounds like his comments are being taken out of context. He’s on her security detail, and he says that if he was going to kill her he’d use a certain gun. Then he shows a picture of the gun. Who does he say this to? Apparently, his fellow officers. Why would a man on security detail for the first lady contemplate a specific danger to her, and discuss his thoughts with other members of her security detail?
Ulsterman's White House Insider (which can't be posted on FR) has said repeatedly that the Zero campaign was going to launch these kind of operations, especially in regards to assassination threats and fears.
Yep. I’m going with your theory...
