Bella Pelosi and the DNC obviously gave a handful of their fellow RATS permission to vote in favor...tight races.don’t you know. The same will probably be true in the Senate. The people’s opposition means nothing...they know better than we do.Numbers,OTOH,do mean something to them.

Unfortunately you also need the Senate. Then you need the president to sign it or have a veto proof senate

All for another day. Say January 2013

Meaningless.

It will die in the Senate.

The people have spoken.

Now go pay your fees taxes and have a nice day. :)

Well, what to say? This is just a FUTILE effort until we take the Senate and the Presidency OUT of the hands of the Democrats.

As usual, it will die when it reaches the Senate ( and even if it does, you know who holds the veto pen today ).

The five Dems who voted with the Republicans are:

Boren (OK)
Kissel (NC)
Matheson(UT)
Ross (AR)
McIntyre (NC)

BRAVE DEMOCRATS...
I hope they have 24/7 Armed protection for their families. The whackos of the left are going to go nuts on them.

Death Threats against opponents kids seems to be the liberal modus operanda today.

Even so, this is not enough for an override of the inevitable veto.

I’m hoping people realize now why it is important to have Obamanation out and a Republican Senate in.

Everyone on this thread whining about this being meaningless theatre, I think you might have computer issues, do yourself a favor: Reach behind your computer, you’ll se a bunch of wires there. Yank on them hard until either the screen goes blank or you smell burning metal and/or see smoke. The problem will now be resolved.

Can this bill be carried over to the next Congress, or does it have to start new?

"Five Democrats, Reps. Dan Boren (Okla.), Larry Kissell (N.C.), Jim Matheson (Utah), Mike McIntyre (N.C.) and Mike Ross (Ark.), sided with Republicans in the final vote. Of this group, all but Matheson voted with the GOP in a procedural vote on the bill Tuesday."

Wow, that was supposed to be twice that many -- wonder if Hoyer pulled a few of them back...

They should start voting on individual pieces of legislation. Repeal Obama-SCOTUS Mandate Tax, repeal death panels, defund, up health savings accounts back, allow insurance to be sold across state lines.

Where the vote will be politically effective is in the Senate when Dems in red states that initially voted for Obamacare like Tester and McCaskill will have to go on the record again and remind voters just before the election they voted for Obamacare when they vote not to repeal it
