If campaign finance contributions are an indicator, the state is 73/27% R vs D, so your number may not be far off. As is the case across the rural midwest, the urban areas of Omaha and Lincoln are the bluest pockets in a deep red state.
I believe that's true of the majority of the state (the red part). Unfortunately, Omaha voted for Obama in 2008, so heaven only knows if OPS indoctrination will work again.
