The suit, announced by the EEOC on Sept. 21, alleged that Bass Pro, since at least November 2005, has been denying qualified blacks and Hispanics retail positions such as cashier, sales associate, team leader, supervisor and manager.
The lawsuit specifically cited incidents at Bass Pro locations in Texas, Louisiana and Indiana.
Founded in the early 1970s, Missouri-based Bass Pro operates 58 stores throughout the United States and Canada. Bridgeport is one of four more planned locations.

Bass Pro Shops should spit out Bridgeport's lure. Unless they intend on hiring people who don't know hula poppers from bath salts.

Just another government shakedown of a private business on behalf of Eric Holder’s people and the other self-styled professional victims groups that constitute the Democratic Party.

This is a bunch of horse hockey. CEO of Bass-Pro Johnny Morris is a big time Republican. NRA supporter. Obi is using the EEOC against Morris the same way Klinton used the IRS against the NRA.
I say pull the pin on CT and go to GA or some other state.

There are plenty of minorities at the Bass Pro Shop in my town.
There is such a thing as randomness.
But I guess our gubermint overlords demand discrimination against the white devil.

The EEOC lawsuit was laughable-- they alleged discrimination, but had no proof, so they accused Bass Pro of not maintaining or destroying the records that would prove discrimination.
Another out of control, Kafkaesque Federal agency that needs to be eliminated.

Part of their anti-gun, anti-white, anti-rural campaign. One more reason to vote for the other guy.

I have heard a lot of disparaging remarks from several largemouth regarding their neighborhood smallmouths. I just took it as a fish tale.

Love Pro Bass shop...I can spend all day there.

Even in Memphis, the clientele of the Bass Pro Shoppe located in an area of town that is primarily black, the majority of shoppers are white.

I’ve been rung up by a black female cashier a number of times at the Mobile Bass Pro.
I’ve been waiting on by a flaming waiter at the restauruant here...

Ive been rung up by a black female cashier a number of times at the Mobile Bass Pro. Was she polite and friendly? Because I think the EEOC only collects complaints from the angry.

IOW, Morris did not pay to play.
We have only more of this to expect once Obamacare kicks in, when party affiliation will determine early life or death.

“qualified blacks and Hispanics retail positions “
Obama and Holder’s racist definition of ‘qualified’ is simply their color of their skin.

Blacks make up 12.5% of the population. The high school graduation rate for blacks was 47%, giving an average of 5.8% of 18 year old males even remotely ‘qualified’ to work retail are black.
Toss in all kinds of other issues young black males have getting to work, keeping work, criminal records, actually having an education and not just passed through graduation and that number could easily be less than 1% of the population are qualified black males aged 18.
That is only 1 in 100 of 18 year olds are qualified black males. If a Bass Pro store had so much as 1 black male that probably had more than the average number.
