On Tuesday, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced an ordinance he said would make sure police know they dont have to turn illegal immigrants over to federal authorities. Hold on. Arizona was told, no no, you can't make your own immigration laws. Isn't this what the Roberts decision supposedly squashed -- states and "sanctuary cities" making their own immigration laws trumping the feds? I'll just hold my breath waiting for the feds to take action.

Why do people find it surprising that Hispanic citizens who are here legally, raising children and trying to make a better life for their families, would want the nation flooded with illegals?
