Why even dignify them by going there in the first place...the NAA(L)CP is an irrelevant organization that does not speak for the vast majority of “colored” people.

If you only go to people who are with you, what good have you done? None.

W spoke to the NAACP convention in 2000. Evidently Reagan didn't go as a candidate but went in 1981. It's a grand tradition for Republicans go to and be attacked for their efforts.
