People should not be held liable for criminal acts of others. The case should never have been brought.

Wow, she really must have been 110% convinced that the grandfather was somehow to be held liable simply because he was a gun owner.
She ran with that ball all the way to Federal court.
Hard to believe - in a way - that her lawyer advised her to continue this course of action.

Sounds like a NE anti gun, anti 2nd liberal who runs to the courts to find a jurist to ram her progressive agenda through.
I'm certainly not unsympathetic to her loss, but her action needs to be directed away from the Brady bunch path, and towards the criminal who murdered her son.

Perhaps she could sue his educators. I might back that!

Loser should pay in these lawsuits. That would put an end to the stupid ones. Sure you can attempt to sue anything you like, but you are going to be paying for it, if you lose.

NH should have “loser pays,” as TX does. Wise up. The leech lawyers won’t be too eager to take ridiculous cases such as this.
