No. FR is a conservative, not Republican, website. I can only afford to send in the occasional $20, and if the man who started and keeps this board running and independent wants to use my payments as facial tissue, he is free to do so.

One simple fact puts the lie to the claim that FreeRepublic is Jim Robinson cash cow as it were.

If Jim really was using FR to get rich he would have accepted advertising many years ago. Then he would be rolling in cash far beyond anything seen in the Freeathons. The traffic map of FR would be worth millions over time, something Jim has certainly known. Jim could have bought his own Olive Garden LOL...

There is a reason that never happened, it kept the site free from influence and censorship from corporations.
