I donate $20 or so here and there and I find that is a good price for admission. If that means you get to live high on the hog at Olive Garden (hehe) so be it. Hell, I’ll give you another $10 so you can have the all-you-can-eat lunch soup and salad. Buy a man lunch and he returns us FR; not a bad trade at all! FR has done more good than any other web site out there and has some of the most talented members.

So, grey RY has posted a really loooooong and as usual boring post on TRL about how badly he has been treated on FR, and letting people know he is the real RY.
I am so wanting to post “how can that be, I am the real RY”.
Thinking all of us who protected their names over there should do the same thing.

I can state emphatically that Quix WAS NOT the worst anti-Catholic, in fact he wasn't even close. He would debate, but he was always honest and even quite cordial in private conversation.
What puzzles me the most is the fact that Quix was a steadfast social conservative and the TrueBlueRinos HATE social conservatives.
But then the Catholics fought back and I dare say that if anything, Free Republic has become the most Catholic Friendly forum on the internet.
It took me some time to truly appreciate the complexity that is inherent to the Religion Forum. I know that many of us have had problems with it over the years, but I certainly don't know of a better way to moderate it. Most other forums that have the level of religious discussion that FR does are religious in nature to begin with, there's no problem banning someone from a site that is specifically Catholic or Evangelical Protestant, etc.; however, that isn't possible here and I applaud Jim and the moderators for the job they do. I know that the debates here have solidified my beliefs far more than I ever imagined.
LOL....it would be fun but I don't post over there. They have to click on a FR link if they want to find something to bash me for. ;0)

I registered to protect my name, as I was being trashed on a regular and daily bases.
The funnest bash was being called “a condescending pri#”, my husband thought that was funny.
It seems counter productive to have a site that seems to exist to bash this site???
I didn’t cruise around too much, maybe they are going to have a decent forum; I just don’t need to see others airing their FR laundry over there and it will get old quick.
