Trouble is, racism has nothing to do with voter ID laws and most Americans realize this, making the NAACP look like the phony race-hustlers they are when they try to equate their objection to voter ID laws as a racial struggle. The NAACP has taken the good will most whites felt toward blacks who endured the '60's racial battles and squandered it by making absurd connections to perfectly reasonable voter ID laws and calling that 'a racial struggle' Hardly. More like a 'keep voting fraud alive' struggle. Shame on them.

Instead of bitching the NAACP should identify citizens without ID and reach out to them. They have the resources. I would hope the GOP is doing something like this, making sure that all registered Republicans have valid ID.

Interesting theory. Requiring a photo id to purchase liquor, cigarettes, spray paint, glue... or even to collect food stamps or drive a car has done nothing to "diminish" 'minority's' abilities to acquire those items or keep them off the roads. How is requiring them to show a photo id to vote diminishing their power to vote the same amount of times I do (once)?
