I like Libs who post on the Boston Herald web-page how good things were when we had the90% Top Marginal tax rate. Yeah, well that was before the Welfare State and actually NOBODY payed it.

Since the Constitution is based, albeit indirectly, on the Law of God, such a “fairness” doctrine can be shown to be anti-biblical.

Leviticus 19:15 says to not show favoritism to the poor or give them any special treatment, ie, to treat rich and poor the same.

They should be taxed at the same rate as well.

Of course, anything coming from the left would turn this on its head and call it “good”. One of the planks of the communist manifesto, and of the democRat party, is a “highly progressive income tax”.
