Natalie Wood's death certificate has been changed from "Accident" to "Undetermined" ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the L.A. County Coroner filed documents making the change late last month.
Members of Wood's family tell TMZ ... detectives from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department -- which has reopened the death investigation -- paid them a visit earlier today informing them of the change. They tell us ... detectives told them the change was made in part because some of the bruises on Wood's body were inconsistent with death by drowning.
Family members add ... they were told at this point authorities can't prove definitively Wood's death was accidental or the result of foul play.

This is a bullsh*t story, based on the delusional sputterings from the captain of the boat (Dennis Davern) who by his own admission was drunk off his ass the night Natalie Wood drowned, which means his ‘passing’ a polygraph test means nothing because the polygraph only determines what a person ‘believes’ to be true.
It has always been my view that Davern is a self-serving, attention seeking little maggot, hoping to eventually cash in on the memory of Natalie Wood, based on absolutely nothing but his drunken fantasies.
Let her rest in peace.
No! You touch one hair on his head and youll have to answer to Teddy Roosevelt, and the government of the United States of America! (Breaks into “My Country ‘Tis of Thee)

I’ve heard the most astounding stories about Robert Wagner and also his marriage to Natalie. So bizarre and defamatory I’m not repeating them here or anywhere. Supposedly from a reliable source originally but 4th hand at this point.
