Jobless Claims Post Biggest Fall Since April

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. private employers stepped up hiring in June and the number of Americans filing new claims for jobless benefits last week fell by the most in two months, hopeful signs for the struggling labor market.

Employers outside government added 176,000 new workers to their payrolls last month, the ADP National Employment Report showed on Thursday, after increasing 136,000 in May.

Anybody know ADP’s politics? Can they be bought? It’s funny this is the first time most of us have ever heard of them.

There's dishonesty in the headline implication and no new claims number in the excerpt. Here's the weekly average, "seasonally adjusted" "jobless claims" number for the month--missing from the excerpt. It's for one average week of the month.
