Anyone-

Who is a good alternative to Obama that we can support?

Thank you.

I love you people here on this site and the great leader Jim Roberson. We are not buying Romey. Some will hold their nose like they did with MC Amnesty and vote for him but many on the right will not because they thought they could cram romney down our throat with “winner take all” primaries. Romney would win with rinos and crossover demorats while 6 REAL conservatives shot it out. What a game. What a plan by the Rockefeller liberal wing of our party. We have one chance left. Mutiny at the convention. Romney will lose real bad to that sorry obama. Too many parasites.

Almost a week. I guess Romney was giving this some thought.

Romney will not do badly at all with the average fat, dumb, but now not too happy (with Obama) American. FR is a kind of elite who can extensively compare notes and see every single stinking wart on Mitt’s body politic, so to speak. The average American, even the ones who prefer conservative politicians? They will see Barack Obama making a huge fuss about how horribly right wing Mitt supposedly is. Barack Obama is Mitt’s best salesman (like he was America’s best gun salesman).

The only “moaning and criticism” I’ve seen lately has been from the Romneybot camp, from which you apparently hail.

Roberts better enjoy his new found “friends” on MSNBC, etc., while it lasts, because they will turn on him.

That would be an improvement over his current Bostonian-insiders clique of advisers. It’s time to set them aside and get a real team.

Stop whining. This is not a game. Any reasonable person should at least take the time to read all the opinions and dissents before saying that the decision was political.

When we're already seven times more "governed" than we need to be, why would you need to read the decision to know that anything that FURTHER empowers the government, especially the "federal" government, is a move in the wrong direction?? We can start talking about the need for a new power or program for them here and there once we've killed about 85% of what's there now, and not before. Now I'm not talking about commenting on motivation, just about commenting on the decision itself.

Romney went as far as he could without personally offending Roberts, whose good graces he may need for eight years.

Pffft. The Won called him and his court assholes on national TV with the guy forced to sit there and listen. If it was my court the guy would have never won another case. Obviously Roberts either doesn't care or can be bought. Romney can just do whatever Obama did to get this vote.

And you actually think Romulus took time out of Jet Skiing to
read the 200 page ruling? Get real.

Mitt Romney blasted the Supreme Court decision and Obamacare within an hour or two of the decision, in a speech that many here said was one of his best. Maybe you don’t know that but he did not make a “3 day old comment.”

What Romney’s spokesman said agreed with Scalia and the dissent, which Roberts should have joined. If you don’t agree with the Supreme Court decision then you have to side with Scalia.

The Romney spokesman did not agree with Roberts’ decision, just the opposite.

People here are mixing up the “it’s been declared a tax” political argument, with the Supreme Court decision itself.

Get back to us when Romney renounces his own RomneyCare along with IT'S INDIVIDUAL MANDATE.

Romney is still touting that socialist piece of CRAP as something worthwhile as being implemented at the state level.

Scott Walker...in 2016. Electing Romney eliminates any possibility of a conservative and real change for eight years. That isn't acceptable.

That's ridiculous.

When will you people get it . Roberts is a marxist. Just as liberal reporters who are marxists also and put their political agenda ahead of doing their job which is tell us the truth so did Roberts.

Liberal Reporters know their job is to tell the people what is really going on there But they don't do that instead they cherry pick events that will advance their agenda and report only those. Likewise Roberts, and the 4 other Marxists on the court know their job is to protect the constitution but instead they advance their political agenda.

Isn’t this kind of like Michael Moore telling people that they ought to go on a diet?

No, but it's a sign that you're not very good at analogies and prefer Obama to Romney.

You're an idiot. Romney was out there almost immediately with a statement last week. He's being quoted after he's been asked a specific question on a CBS report. Deal with it.

Talking down Romney right now won't change the Republican nomination, it will only suppress the anti-Obama vote.

I’m surprised this thread has now reached at least 78 posts without being carpet bombed by even a single one that includes incessant (and inane) graphics & photoshops, the same copy & past replies ad nauseam, and tons of links.

I just saw this exchange a few minutes ago on The Morning Joe. It was amazing.

On that clip Romney explains that Obama-mandate is a tax because the SCOTUS said so, but he believed it was a fine before that, but now it is tax because of the ruling.

So he was asked the obvious question: is the Romney-care mandate (with a much bigger fine/tax) was a tax too. Romney replies that states like MA can impose a fine without calling it a tax to make it constitutional but at the Federal level it must be called a tax. So Romney-care (mandate) is a fine, Obama-care is a tax.

WOW! Empty suit Romney is the gift that keeps on giving, to Democrats.

I think his comments on the SCOTUS ruling and his change of labels is appropriate.

If I were him and asked the same question about Romneycare, I’d focus on it along the lines of “if a court says it’s a tax, I’ll say it’s a tax. But no court has ruled on it.”
