I use the generic form - Zolpadem. The worst thing that happened to me was; one night I sleepwalked into the kitchen, ate an entire carton of strawberry ice cream and then went back to bed.

This is a very common problem with Ambien. I ballooned up to 345 pounds while I was on that Cr@p! I’d get up in the morning, and find I’d eaten a whole loaf of bread during the night.
One morning I woke up with bruises all over my body! I freaked. Suspecting some sort of cardio-vascular problem, I walked into my doc;s office with no appointment. I was quite frightened!. He could find nothing wrong. About halfway through the appt, I realized I had fallen, and thrashed around whilst sleepwalking. I strung a string across my hallway, and found I was somnambulating evry night. I switched to Ativan. No further problems.
How many times will that excuse work? ;-)
