The Republican National Committee, keeping up on their social media campaigns like we havent seen before in a presidential election, have already released an ad absolutely belittling Obama for saying that families making under $250,000 a year would not see a tax increase.
Well, Mr. Obama, your little tax increase yesterday may just come back and bite you in the bum.
As pointed out in this article, the penalty for not following the direction of the individual mandate requiring all Americans to purchase health care coverage is not a fine, but a tax.

And the Romney campaign spokesman says it’s a penalty!
The election was handed to them on a silver platter and they manage to screw it up????
That's the severely conservative way of calling it a tax is all.
These guys could not be more stupid - If you want to sink Obambi you show him saying - I’m going to lower your interest on mortage, your student loan interest and your healthcare - then say “How’s that working out?” Next show four people...”I want a job not lower interest rates!I want a job not a place at my parents home and insurance.”
From the title I thought the RNC was finding fault with (attacking) some joke about Obama. Headline is stupid. Ad is great.

Whether you consider the individual mandate penalty a tax or not, there are six other taxes in the bill that do directly or nearly directly impact people earning less than 250k, like the wheelchair tax and the medicine cabinet tax.
The current RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is doing a great job. Finally, the right person at the right time.
Rush was really mad this afternoon about people splitting hairs on if it is a tax or a penalty. The BIG PICTURE is that no matter what you call it, people making less that $250K, including the middle class, are going to pay for it. It’s a great ad.
I missed him today, thanks for letting me know. An ad like this shows the potential.
That video is scarier than being chased through a vampire convention by a pack of werewolves. People that stupid should be confined somewhere for their own protection. They are worse than stupid, worse than ignorant, worse than uneducated, they are totally mindless, the average six year old a few generations back had more logical thinking power than the whole lot of them. They literally just mouth phrases with absolutely no meaning. How about the vacuum skull who asks, “Why should you have to pay just to live?” He is too much of an idiot to realize that that is exactly what the individual mandate does, it forces you to pay just for living. The combined IQ of the whole lot is a single digit number. The dumbing down of the USA has been a rollicking success, that is obvious.
