She had backup. Once the bear rounded the corner into the backyard, the rest of the pack of hounds saw the bear and went absolutely nuts. Eight beagles all howling at once. It was pandemonium.
No offense, but I don’t think 8 beagles are going to intimidate a momma bear.
My neighbor has a couple ankle bitters who think they are bears. They even kick sand with their front paws. I guess when you kick sand, that makes you extra badass.
