Killing a bear with a .22 falls into the realm of Divine intervention. For an eye shot, you’d have to be able to hit a moving and partially obscured target the size of a 50 cent piece, under duress. The round would have to enter at just the right angle so as to not embed itself in the orbital bone, or ricochet off from a pathway to the brain. And, most importantly, being a rim fire, you’d have to count on it not misfiring.
