Al-Qaeda is plotting to blow up an American airliner in the run-up to this month's London Olympics and has trained a Norwegian Muslim convert in an attempt to evade airport security, a media report said on Sunday. Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has trained the Norwegian convert and is understood to have also selected a target, believed to be a US passenger jet, The Sunday Times quoted intelligence sources as saying.

When I first read 1984 I was just blown away at the paralells to reality (and this was in the 90s). Today it’s THE handbook of Democrat governance.
Orwell was indeed a sage if not an actual prophet. I’m not big on his actual writing “style” but his words, reasoning and concepts are second to none.
Huxley is another. Brave New World is rapidly catching up to 84 in both direction and application. Note the story the other day about the lab kids with three genetic parents.
If there’s a Freeper left that has not read either of these books, do so now. And May I also throw in Robert Greene’s “The 48 Laws of Power”. That group of books will help make sense of the world today.

How can you expect America to wake up to the insidious danger of Islam when the cult is protected under the 1st Amendment and when government and the MSM are either in a coma or pro-islam in order to eradicate Christianity.

Same here, but we don’t always get what we want. Understanding what we have though, will better prepare us for making what we want a reality.
