That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles....
And from Thomas Jefferson.....
"Periodically the soil of liberty (or tree of liberty, can't remember which one) needs to be refreshed now and again, with the blood of patriots and that of tyrants"
We are well beyond that stage now!
