I smell a rat somewhere in the polling. Just doesn’t add up that more people like him than the guy they were just yesterday trusting more with healthcare (Romney) and that this is due to the ruling? Makes no sense. Think I’ll table giving any poll credence for now.
And since the SC said it was constitutional then folks will say Obamacare is A-Ok.
The tax argument's will not fly since most American also think it is A-Ok to tax for such “good things”.
And years from now when it all fails, the public will be told the fault lies with Republicans, business, hospitals, Drs, Insurance, or big Pharma.
They will NEVER be told that big gov is too blame, and will vote in Dems who will fix it with compassion.
Same old, same old.
The SC decision certainly lends Obama presidential integrity. I work in an office of many libs. They are energized and excited. Before the decision, I can say that I thought Obama would lose and maybe in a big way. They thought Obamacare would go down in flames and really didn't think it made much difference who is in the White House. Their work and vote for Obama was essentially meaningless since little had changed and those things that changed were for the worse.
Now, they can say and do say, that Obama has made a difference and are excited to vote for him again.
Now the election turns from the economy to health care and will be about health care, so I think the election will be close. Romney is going to have to be a really good campaigner to win.
Those folks who believe there is a silver lining are wishful thinkers. Roberts has put Obama back on the map. It really is a shameful decision.
Rasmussen is VERY accurate, but as they poll daily and weekend polls tend to favor Obama, this bears close watching.
Rasmussen is the most accurate poll out there. It is a warning that there is a lot of work to do.
