Actor George Clooney is offering more help to President Obama's re-election campaign by headlining a European fundraiser this summer for Americans living abroad.
An invitation posted on Obama's campaign website says Clooney will be the special guest at an Obama fundraiser in Geneva, Switzerland, on Aug. 27.
Tickets start at $1,000 per person, and dinner for two costs a cool $30,000.

I hear the Occupy freeloaders are getting tired of Hussein's rich pals.
I thought money from foreign sources was a bozo no no
Hollywood doesn’t have enough money for Obama

...let’s see how much Clooney wants to go to Jail
I think the human Rectal thermometer would love it
How about an Obama fundraiser in Havana, Cuba?
Since when are foreign contributions okay in AMERICAN elections?????????????????????????
Is this even legal?
Clooney et al are selling tickets to a dinner akin to eating a meal on the Titanic. Anyone who has $20K or more to plunk down on a campaign that's spending money faster than taking it in and likely to be an epic fail in November must be brainless Hollywood types who think exposure with Obama will further their "careers."
About 50% of us view this publicity (outing themselves as hateful of capitalism commie/socialists) as career-ending, not sustaining.
These aren’t one percenters. They are .01 percenters.
I’ve done fairly well over the years (not quite 1% territory), and I can’t imagine shelling out that kind of money for a dinner. There’s got to be lots of access payback expected, and it’s got to be like a big tip, not a major investment. This is very rich territory that Obama is trolling.
When an individual is only allowed to give $2,500 to Obama how can they give $30,000 to Obama for a meal. Doesn’t real value enter in?
